Focus "LEAFCUTTIN ANTS TEACH US CONSERVATION" NEW 2018/2019

Preservation is a fundamental concept to understand and make our own to become responsible people towards nature.

The ants Atta coephalotes are direct farmers of their own food, within the animal kingdom. They teach us to take care of our planet. Through this focus, we will learn all we can do to safeguard habitats and our earth.

The focus "THE LEAFCUTTING ANTS TEACH US THE CONSERVATION" is addressed to students of the Primary School (from the 3rd class), Secondary I° and Secondary Grade II°

Duration: 1h
Cost: Euro 3,00 per student (free entrance for teacher). Activities subject to the ticket - Rates are valid for groups of minimum 15 paying persons.

FOCUS "THE BIODIVERSITY OF THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA" NEW 2018/2019

The Mediterranean Sea is an extraordinary habitat rich in life and of presiding environments: for this reason it is a heritage to safeguard through important actions and initiatives such as the establishment of the Cetacean Sanctuary Pelagos, the Marine protected areas and The TuscanOobservatory on Biodiversity, with which Acquario di Livorno collaborates with its turtle Recovery centre.

A new focus that also provides a part of the Behind the scenes, to hit the sensitivity of the boys as future cursor key of this priceless treasure.

The proposed Focus "The biodiversity of the Mediterranean Sea" is addressed to students of Primary school (from 3rd class), Secondary School I° and Secondary School II°

COMBINED TOUR "ACQUARIO + MUSEO DELLA CITTA' DI LIVORNO" NEW 2018/2019

The Museum of the City of Livorno, inaugurated on April 30, 2018, is a lively cultural center, which synthesizes the richness of the history of Livorno with its gaze projected towards its future.



Located in the heart of the eighteenth-century district of Venice in the whole of the Bottini Dell'Olio, the museum is divided in two sections: one of the city collections, which exhibits a selection of works of art, photographs, memorabilia, archaeological finds that are part of civic collections; and the Contemporary art section, with works placed in the Baroque settings of the deconsecrated Church of the Pio Square, coming from the former Museum of Villa Maria Progessivo.

The combined "ACQUARIO DI LIVORNO + MUSEO DELLA CITTA' DI LIVORNO" " includes the entrance to the ACQUARIO DI LIVORNO (Duration: 1h30') and the entrance to MUSEO DELLA CTTA' DI LIVORNO (Duration: 2h) at the total cost of Euro 9.00 per student.
