From the river to the plate - NEW

Target: Primary School (starting from 3rd class) - Secondary School I° and II° Grade - Duration: 1h- Number of participants: 15 paying persons.

This is an activity that combines scientific learning, role-playing, direct observation of aquatic organisms, and civic education. Students won't just get familiar with the concepts of bioaccumulation and biomagnification of contaminants along the food chain; they'll also experience firsthand the "boomerang effect" between our wrong behaviors towards the environment and the consequent impact on our health. According to the "One Health" principle, we and the environment are the same, so everything we do to save or protect the environment we live in is actually done to ensure our future survival.

The partecipation to this laboratory costs Euro 3 per student (entrance and activity free for teachers). The activity lasts 1h and is subject to the entrance ticket.
