The leaf cutting ants are considerae one of the most social organisms of the animal kingdon.

It leaves in the forests of Central America. Its colonies can reach hundreds of thousands of specimens, diveded into "teams" each one with a different task. 

It feeds on a fungus with which lives in symbiosis and which "farms" thanks to the leaves that it collects around the nest.
