PARTECIPATES TO M'ILLUMINO DI MENO 2018
 
 
Costa Edutainment partecipates as every year to M'illumino di meno 2018, the day of international mobilization in the name of energy savings promoted for the next 23 February by the radio program of Radio 2 Caterpillar, under the patronage of the European Parliament.
 
As in the previous editions of the Day, the Aquarium of Genoa, will shut off from 18 to 20 hours on Friday 23 February, all the external lights and part of the lights on the path thus contributing to a real reduction of energy consumption and at the same time to raise awareness of visitors.
 
Also on the Romagna Riviera the group adheres with all the structures: on the same date, Italy in miniature in Rimini, Oltremare and Aquafan in Riccione, and Cattolica Aquarium will turn off external lights and signs, with a reduction of energy consumption and as a symbolic and popular action .
 
The Aquarium of Livorno also partecipates to the initiative this year with the switch off from 8am to 10am on the 23th February 2018 of the lights of the tour and the technical rooms with a reduction in energy consumption of 16.23 KW.
 
Membership of the initiative is part of Costa Edutainment's wider commitment to environmental and social sustainability, in a continuous process of responsible citizenship.
Aware of the strategic, economic and environmental importance of the process of monitoring its consumption of water, gas and electricity, starting in 2014, Costa Edutainment has launched an important energy efficiency project, aimed at reducing consumption, working in parallel on elements of innovation and optimization.
