FROM AUGUST 15TH, EVERY SATURDAY IN AUGUST, ACQAURIO DI LIVORNO AWAITS YOU EVEN IN THE EVENING WITH EXTENDED OPENING HOURS AND A SPECIAL RATE FROM 6.00 PM.
On Saturday, August 15, 22, and 29, Acquario di Livorno extends its opening hours until 11 PM (last entry at 10 PM) to offer the public an extraordinary experience: an evening visit at a special entrance fee.
On these warm summer days and evenings, visitors from Livorno and tourists on vacation in Livorno will have the chance to discover and admire the beauty of the sea by visiting Acquario di Livorno even after 6 PM.
Tank by tank, visitors can explore the splendor of the Mediterranean and tropical marine environment, admire the Indo-Pacific tank, where the two green turtles “Ari” and “Cuba” swim alongside blacktip and zebra sharks, and head up to the first floor, to the reptile house with insects, amphibians, and reptiles like leafcutter ants, iguanas, stick insects, chameleons, and much more.
In line with the Aquarium's mission – Bringing people closer to nature and promoting the protection of aquatic environments through education, conservation, and research activities – the visit is designed as an opportunity to get closer to the marine environment and learn to respect it. The Livorno Aquarium is actually an Information Point for the Tuscan Biodiversity Observatory, a Recovery and Rehabilitation Center for sea turtles, and a partner in the European LIFE Sharks project for shark protection.
On August 15, 22, and 29 2026, Acquario di Livorno will therefore be open continuously from 10 AM to 11 PM (last entry at 10 PM).

On these days, starting from 6 PM, the entry fee will have a promotional price of €15 for Adults and €10 for Children (from 1 meter to 140 cm in height) and for Reduced tickets (over 65, military, and disabled companion), with tickets available directly at the ticket office and online at www.acquariodilivorno.it.
Visitors are informed that at 10:30 PM the aquarium tanks will switch to moonlight mode. This change is essential to respect the natural biological cycle of the animals, while also giving you the chance to enjoy the charm of the marine world at night.
We also remind you that Acquario di Livorno is open on the remaining days from 10 AM to 6 PM (last entry at 5 PM).
